Papers laid out by conference year, their papers as a stacked list. Hover over an item to see its title and authors. Click an item to see its citation links and detail: click in the whitespace above the stacklist to deselect. Data for a selected item is shown below the main chart.
Coloured items to left of the selection are cited by it, those to the right cite the selection.
Search: use the box bottom-left to search for a term: a tooltip shows the dataset fields that are searched.
Heat map: a button at bottom-right toggles colouring of the degree to which items are cited: this is best used with no item selected.

This uses the 1,265 full/short papers published in Hypertext's Proceedings as found in DL.ACM (except for ECHT'90 which was published outside the ACM). Originally, the views used CSV node and edge data but now use a single underlying JSON file with enhanced metadata available. This is an enhanced version of the dataset originally published at eprints.soton.ac.uk/457992/ (DOI:10.5258/SOTON/D1870).

AI use: for the CSV to JSON port and small Ui improvements, Claude (Anthropic) was used as AI coding assistant. Adam Wern's original per-view JavaScript files were refactored to a common module for all views to read/handle data, and smaller per-view libraries. The common library also allows drop-in use of additional views in the future.
